Light The company is about to launch on the market a futuristic camera, which includes 16 image sensors that can produce a picture of 52 megapixels. Is this the future?
Light has announced an innovative camera, with smartphone-like and the performance of a SLR camera. The device is called the Light L16 in relation to the number of sensors that embeds. This new device, running Android, is totally innovative and there is no equivalent on the market.
Light 16, as photo sensors
When looking at the L16 Light, one thinks more like a smartphone than a camera. Indeed, the apparatus is as compact as a mobile phone. However, on the front face of L16 include image sensors 16, providing different focal lengths. 5 35 mm, 70 mm and 5 to 6 150 mm which are arranged in groups. Each goal is 13 megapixels, in the end, the photo will be taken with the L16 52 megapixels, enough to make extremely sharp photos and grain-free. A 17th sensor is also present to calculate the distance between the camera and what is photographed.
