The Nordic furniture manufacturer has just introduced a new line that will bring back our home in the future: Induction charging for devices connected directly integrated into our desks, tables, and lamps.
Galaxy S6 include an inductive charging system. It was a great ad but Samsung has just overtaken unusual way: Ikea, the famous Swedish manufacturer goes further, integrating this technology to its furniture.
Tables and offices connected
The firm announced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Tables, desks and lamps also have a space dedicated to not reload induction. It will then be enough to have a smartphone, a tablet or an object connected to take advantage of this new technology. Moreover, the Galaxy S6 will be compatible.

This line, called "Smart Home", will be marketed as of 15 April. Each piece will be sold in two versions: the standard and connected. One that will incorporate technology will cost 20 euros more. And for those who already have Ikea furniture and who would enjoy it, do not panic: the Swedish giant will offer kits to 30 euros.
